During the hours of daylight the image should show a concrete ford over the Tapu River on the Coromandel peninsula in New Zealand.
Periods of heavy rain can result in the level of the river rising such that the ford becomes impassable.
This webcam allows the river level to be monitored by those who wish to cross the ford.
